We inform you that University of Dundee (Great Britain) is defined for improvement of medical education in the Republic of Kazakhstan and introductions of the best experience on training of doctors, nurses, experts of pharmacy, development of personnel resources of health care within carried-out reforms by Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, at the initiative of RK Ministry of Health partner university for medical schools of RK.

The delegation (John Connell — the vice rector of the University of Dundee, the head of college of medicine, stomatology and nurse business, Cachia Jean Scott — the associated dean on innovations, the director of the Center of clinical skills) will visit Kazakhstan on July 16-18, 2014.

Visit schedule: visit of KAZNMU on July 16, 2014. Acquaintance of representatives of Dundee University with work of a number of divisions of university (The center of communicative skills, the Center of practical skills, stomatology Institute, library, the museum, audiences), a meeting with the management of KAZNMU, signing of the memorandum of cooperation is planned.

On July 17, 2014 visit of Medical university «Astana» and signing of the memorandum of cooperation with Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan is planned.

The University of Dundee has the international reputation in predegree and postdegree education, in training in clinical skills and simulyatsionny education, training in the field of management in health care, and an innovation in improvement of health systems and the medical and sanitary help;

The medical school of the University of Dundee is the best in Great Britain according to The Guardian (2010); TORAHS School on stomatology in Great Britain from 100% satisfaction of students, according to their National poll in 2013; «The best place for work in Academy» in Europe according to the World poll made by the Scientist magazine, and the third place in the world in their list of the international institutes (outside the USA); also the 1st University in Great Britain on scientific researches and innovative medical researches in the field of diabetes, a cancer and neuroscience; the 1st university in Scotland on anatomy and physiology teaching, and biological sciences; the 5th University in the world on a quoting in sciences about life and research works in medicine; the leader on training in clinical skills and simulyatsionny technologies in Scotland.
