The main objective of the Anti-Corruption Compliance Service (hereinafter referred to as the Service) is to ensure that the University and its employees comply with the Republic of Kazakhstan’s anti-corruption legislation and to monitor the implementation of anti-corruption measures.
Service tasks:
- Ensuring compliance with external regulatory requirements and best international practices in anti-corruption matters.
- Ensuring adherence to the fundamental principles of anti-corruption in accordance with the Law.
- Identifying, assessing, and re-assessing corruption risks, as well as conducting internal analyses of these risks.
- Effectively implementing a system of anti-corruption measures in accordance with the Law.
- Developing programs, standards, and policies to combat corruption and foster an anti-corruption culture.
- Monitoring and controlling compliance in relevant areas.
Main functions
- Personnel planning and marketing.
- Development of personnel policies and management strategies.
- Recruitment and management of personnel accounting, including documentation support for the personnel management system.
- Management of personnel motivation and incentives.
- Timely implementation of the Strategic Directions and University Development Program, including reporting on their progress and strategic indicators.
- Assistance in implementing measures to enhance the University’s quality management system, including the timely resolution of issues and implementation of external and internal audit recommendations.
- Maintenance of processes for informing University management about potential or past violations of anti-corruption policies, conflict-of-interest rules, corruption risks or incidents, and other internal regulatory documents related to combating corruption.
