An outstanding scientist, teacher, mentor, and an inspiration for generations of doctors.
Nurgul Taurantayevna is the author of more than 95 scientific and educational-methodological publications, including articles recognized by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Education and Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as those indexed in international databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. She has developed educational and methodological manuals and test collections for students in microbiology and virology.
Over the years, Nurgul Taurantayevna has been honored with numerous awards:
- 2010 — Bronze Medal of KazNMU
- 2011 — Silver Medal of KazNMU
- 2018 — Gold Medal of KazNMU
- 2020 — “Veteran of Labor” Medal of KazNMU
- 2021 — “Veteran of Labor” Medal of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In honor of her anniversary, and for her many years of dedicated work, high professionalism, and significant contribution to the development of the university,
the Trade Union of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov
awarded Nurgul Taurantayevna Taurbayeva with the medal “Үздік ұстаз” (“Best Teacher”),
a monetary reward, and a commemorative folder on behalf of
the Chair of the Trade Union Organization, Sagat Altynbekov.
For more than 50 years, Nurgul Taurantayevna has been an active member of the Trade Union of KazNMU, making a significant contribution to the development of the trade union movement and the strengthening of the university’s professional community.
