On February 28, 2025, the traditional Job Fair was successfully held at the S.D. Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University. This event became an important platform for future doctors, pharmacists, and employers.
This year, KazNMU graduated 2,578 specialists, of whom 1,942 studied under the state educational grant:
— General Medicine – 656 graduates
— Pediatrics – 146
— Dentistry – 139
— Residency – 675
— Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Production Technology – 789
In 2025, medical organizations across Kazakhstan submitted requests to KazNMU for 2,290 job vacancies. One of the most in-demand specialties was General Medical Practice, with 317 positions offered.

— Therapy – 108
— Surgery, Cardiology, Pediatrics – 76

Over the past years, the employment rate of KazNMU graduates has remained consistently high:
— 2022 – 99.0%
— 2023 – 99.1%
— 2024 – 99.3%
In accordance with the amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Education,” graduates who studied under the state grant now have the right to fulfill their mandatory service in any medical organization, regardless of the form of ownership.
Graduates who are ready to work in the regions were offered relocation bonuses, service housing, and various social benefits. These measures create additional opportunities for career growth and the development of the healthcare sector in the regions.
During the event, graduates communicated with employers, received information about available positions, and discussed employment conditions. Many young specialists received job offers and signed preliminary employment agreements.
Employers emphasized the high level of training of KazNMU graduates and expressed readiness to continue long-term cooperation with the university.
