On December 27, the “Guardians of the New Year” children’s holiday entertainment program took place at the Concordia Theater, featuring performers from the State Puppet Theater. The event brought together children of trade union members and KazNMU staff, providing them with joy, fun activities, and a festive atmosphere.

At the opening of the celebration, the university rector M. E. Shoranov addressed the children with warm congratulations and words of encouragement. His wishes for health, happiness, academic success, and joyful holidays were met with smiles and heartfelt delight from the children.

Following the decision of the trade union, a Best New Year Costume contest was held, with children receiving 80 prizes. Additionally, 500 plush toys were purchased and distributed to all participants, serving as a symbol of the holiday and the trade union’s care for the employees’ children.

The New Year celebrations will continue on January 3, when 400 children will visit the State Puppet Theater to attend the festive entertainment performance “Multi New Year”. The program is designed for children of different ages and promises to be bright, engaging, and memorable.

As part of the New Year preparations, the Trade Union of Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov (KazNMU) purchased festive gifts from the “Rakhat” Confectionery Factory: 1,800 gifts for adults and 1,500 gifts for children. This tradition has become an important part of the university’s corporate life, aimed at supporting staff and their families, creating a festive mood, and strengthening the spirit of unity.

These events reflect the care of KazNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov and the trade union for their employees and families, help strengthen corporate spirit, create a festive atmosphere, and uphold the traditions of New Year celebrations.
