The Scientific Laboratory “Center for Shared Use” (SL CSU) operates under the direct supervision of the Research Institute of Fundamental and Applied Medicine named after B.A. Atchabarov (RIFAM named after B.Atchabarov) of the University, which is directly subordinate to the Scientific and Technological Park of the University.
The main goal of SL CSU is to be an integral part of the laboratory infrastructure, providing the opportunity to conduct precise and in-depth genetic research on biological samples. Our team actively applies advanced techniques and technologies to achieve outstanding results in the field of molecular genetics, contributing to the progress of scientific knowledge and the development of medicine.
Tasks and functions of SL CSU:
- Organization of training and consulting for young scientists and students on issues related to genetic research on biological samples;
- Development, scientific justification, and implementation of innovative technologies under experimental conditions;
- Involvement of students in scientific research;
- Participation of SL CSU staff in the implementation of scientific research projects at the national and international levels;
- Conducting fundamental and applied research in the field of medicine and public health. Development of new methods for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases;
- Development of international and interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of medicine and public health. Participation in the creation and implementation of state and regional healthcare programs;
- Creation of conditions for conducting student, master’s, and doctoral research, mastering by students of the latest laboratory methods applied in science and clinic at the SL CSU laboratory;
- Formation of operational and clinical skills among students;
- Organization of educational activities at the SL CSU, related to practical skills implemented by departments and other educational units of the University;
- Provision of scientifically based information on the state of public health, new medical technologies, and treatment methods to the general public;
- Technical support for the implementation of fundamental and applied tasks of scientific and technical projects of the SHOM1 departments, as well as their collaborators based on the SL CSU laboratory.
