An informational and explanatory session was held for the 2026 graduates regarding the fulfillment of obligations related to the mandatory work placement under the state educational grant, the procedure for distribution, exemption from mandatory service, and interaction with the “Financial Center” JSC.

Participants of the meeting included:

  • Vice-Rector of the University — U. M. Dathaev;
  • Head of the Department for Student Development and Support — Sh. R. Shermet;
  • Deans, deputy deans, and faculty administrative staff;
  • Staff of the Career and Employment Center;
  • Representative of “Financial Center” JSC — A. Tynybekov.

The meeting was attended by approximately 789 graduates of 2026, including:

  • Bachelor’s degree — 370 students, of which:
    352 — “Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technology”;
    18 — “Pharmacy”;
  • Internship — 306 students, of which:
    157 — “General Medicine”;
    137 — “Pediatrics”;
    12 — International Faculty;
  • Residency — 113 students.

Vice-Rector U. M. Dathaev opened the meeting with welcoming remarks, emphasizing the importance of this event for graduates completing their studies under the state educational grant and rural quota.

  1. T. Kashaganova, Head of the Career and Employment Center, provided information on the employment procedure, categories of individuals exempt from mandatory work placement, and the Center’s activities aimed at supporting graduates in finding job opportunities.
  2. Tynybekov, representative of “Financial Center” JSC, presented detailed information on the mechanisms of monitoring the mandatory three-year work placement, rules for employment notification, and the procedures for interacting with graduates through the 1414 system.

During the meeting, graduates actively engaged and raised questions on the following topics:

  • procedures and conditions for exemption from mandatory work placement;
  • reporting and verification of employment activities;
  • the possibility of choosing a workplace (public or private institutions);
  • the notification procedure via 1414;
  • liability for refusal to fulfill obligations and the procedure for reimbursement.

The meeting was held in a constructive and open manner. Graduates received clarifications on all matters of interest regarding the legal framework and practical aspects of fulfilling obligations under the state grant.

Recommendations:

  • continue informing graduates at the faculty level;
  • organize additional individual consultations at the Career and Employment Center;

enhance cooperation with “Financial Center” JSC to ensure timely information exchange
