The Youth Policy Council is a collegial advisory, coordinating body for the implementation and realization of youth policy at the University.
The main goals of the Council are to develop recommendations for determining priorities, forming and implementing comprehensive measures to resolve student issues and coordinating the processes of developing, implementing and improving the University’s youth policy.
The main objectives of the Council are:
- determination and development of a strategic direction in the field of youth policy of the University;
- analysis of work efficiency in the area and identification of improvement methods;
- discussion of issues that require attention in the areas of activity of structural units under the leadership of the supervising Vice-Rector;
- discussion and consideration of draft internal regulatory legal acts on youth policy issues.
Main functions of the Council
Functions performed by the Council:
- formation and approval of a plan of main activities in the field of youth policy;
- preparation of proposals on the implementation of youth policy at the University;
- creating comfortable conditions for improving work in the field of youth events;
- development of a strategic plan for the University’s activities on youth policy issues;
- development of proposals to improve the efficiency of regulation of issues affecting the rights and legitimate interests of young people;
- consideration and development of proposals for improving the activities of structural units in the areas of social, legal, educational, cultural, moral, patriotic, physical and other development of youth;
- participation in organizing and holding meetings, round tables, conferences and other events on youth policy issues;
- study and generalization of the experience of foreign and domestic higher educational institutions in the field of youth policy;
- assistance in the interaction of the University with regional and republican non-governmental organizations in the field of youth policy.
