Educational practice “Introduction to the profession”

Description: The practice involves familiarizing students with the structure of healthcare organizations. The student gains experience working as a junior staff (nursery): cleaning premises in accordance with sanitary standards, caring for patients (changing linen and clothes, serving, cleaning the vessel), cleaning bedside tables for bedridden patients, washing pharmaceutical utensils. Develops ethics and deontology skills, becomes familiar with the sanitary and epidemiological regime.

Industrial practice: "Nurse Assistant"

Description: Students consolidate and improve knowledge, skills and abilities as an assistant nurse: monitoring the general condition of patients with various diseases and injuries, performing simple medical procedures (manipulations) and patient care activities; acquire skills in health education work in healthcare organizations; develop the competencies necessary to work in the professional field.

Industrial practice: “Assistant physician, surgeon, pediatrician, obstetrician-gynecologist”

Description: In the process of practicing as a medical assistant, students improve the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the process of studying clinical disciplines in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of internal organs and acute surgical and obstetric-gynecological pathology of adults and children, the course of physiological pregnancy and childbirth, and get acquainted with the specifics of a doctor’s professional activity and the basics of healthcare organization.

Industrial practice: "Assistant family doctor"

Description: In the process of practicing as an assistant to a family doctor, students consolidate and improve professional knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the process of studying the discipline “Fundamentals of Family Medicine”, get acquainted with the specifics of the professional activity of a doctor at the level of PHC structures — primary health care for the population, master principles of professional ethics, communication, effective use of information technology and teamwork.

Industrial practice: "Assistant emergency physician"

Description: After completing practical training, students will be able to professionally and competently examine a patient and provide emergency medical care; perform basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation; immobilization and transportation of the victim, follow the standards of diagnosis and treatment; be able to communicate and work in a team; Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, patients’ families, and co-workers. Act with integrity and comply with ethical obligations.

Industrial internship of a master's student

Number of credits — 3
Type of control – Differential credit
Description: As a result of the internship of a master’s student, the student consolidates practical skills in solving organizational, economic and managerial problems; development of documents for normative and methodological support of the organization’s personnel management system; collects practical material for writing the analytical part of the master’s thesis; prepares analytical materials to substantiate the problem under study; carries out information-analytical and information-bibliographic work using modern IT technologies.
